Terms and Conditions
The Appalachian Underwriters Pie Party Flash Incentive (“The Incentive”) is available only to Eligible Agents of Appalachian Underwriters. By participating in this program, all participants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of Pie Insurance Services, Inc. (“Pie”), which are final and binding on all matters relating to all aspects of The Incentive.
Eligible Agent: All contracted Appalachian Underwriters agents actively representing Pie at the time The Incentive is awarded. Agents must be licensed to be eligible.
Incentive Period: The Incentive will be available for Qualified Submissions submitted between April 14, 2025 at 12:01 am and April 18, 2025 at 11:59 pm local time. The Incentive will be available for Qualified Binds bound between April 14, 2025 at 12:01 am and April 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm local time.
Qualified Submission: Complete new business workers’ compensation or commercial auto insurance submission with 2+ power units within the Pie coverage map that received a quote or a decline decision, or received a refer decision and was submitted to the underwriting team for review. The submission must be received during the Incentive Period, with an effective date on or before April 30, 2025.
Qualified Quote: A workers’ compensation or commercial auto policy quote that comes from a Qualified Submission. These must be generated by April 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm local time to qualify for The Incentive.
Qualified Binds: A workers’ compensation or commercial auto bind that comes from a Qualified Submission. These must be bound and effective by April 30, 2025 at 11:59pm local time to qualify for The Incentive. Qualified Binds which are canceled on or before April 30, 2025 will not qualify for The Incentive.
Incentive: During the Incentive Period, the following prizes will be awarded:
Payments to Eligible Agents will be made by gift card via email no later than May 30, 2025. If an Eligible Agent wins multiple categories, total payment will be made in one gift card.
The Incentive is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply, as well as the terms and conditions of any brokerage agreement in place with Pie.
Pie reserves the right to interpret rules, determine eligibility, and make awards based on Pie’s records. Pie’s decision in such matters shall be final. Any liability for taxes will be the responsibility of the Eligible Agent. No transfer, cash equivalent, or substitution of The Incentive is permitted, except at Pie’s sole discretion. Not all agents, agencies, or partners who represent Pie will qualify for The Incentive.
Pie reserves the right to cancel, change, or alter the structure of The Incentive at any time.
