Pie Insurance Services, Inc., on behalf of itself and its affiliates, (collectively “Pie”) provides the option to receive SMS and text communications (collectively, “text messages”) for updates about your quotes, policies, billing, renewals, and account activity through our Pie Insurance Text Alerts Program. The specific communications available to you will depend on your account type and the features active at the time of enrollment. Not all message types may be available to all customers or at all times.
Pie also separately offers an optional Automated Calling Program through which you may receive automated outbound calls—which may use artificial or prerecorded voice technology—for transactional and service-related purposes, including updates about your quotes, policies, billing, renewals, and account activity. The specific communications available to you will depend on your account type and the features active at the time of enrollment. Not all automated call types may be available to all customers or at all times.
All communications mentioned herein are on a voluntary opt-in basis through our web form. Each combination of method of communication described in these Terms has a separate check box for opt-in on the web form.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages and/or automated calls from Pie, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages and/or automated outbound calls at the mobile number provided using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
By signing up, you are confirming you are over the age of 18, that you are the owner of the wireless device for which you have authorized contact, and that you are responsible for messages sent from the device. If ownership of the telephone number changes, it is your responsibility to notify Pie promptly so that consent records can be updated.
Communications are not secure or encrypted and third parties can sometimes intercept messages. You agree that you will not text or provide Pie any confidential or sensitive information in response to the communications mentioned herein.
Message and call frequency varies.
Message, data, and service rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider.
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by texting STOP to 280106. After texting STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. For help, text HELP to 280106 or contact us at 855-705-2716. Opting out of receiving text messages does not affect your enrollment in the Automated Calling Program.
When you receive an automated call from Pie, the call will identify itself at the outset as an automated or AI-generated communication on behalf of Pie Insurance, and will include Pie’s phone number. You will be provided an opportunity to opt-out of the Automated Calling Program during each call by pressing 0 on the keypad. After opting out, you will receive a single verbal acknowledgment prior to the call being ended. Following an opt-out request, Pie will honor your request within a commercially reasonable timeframe. Opting out of receiving automated calls does not affect your enrollment in the Pie Insurance Text Alerts Program.
We take your privacy seriously. Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.pieinsurance.com/privacy. We will not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
Pie reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Pie Insurance Text Alerts Program or Automated Calling Program at any time, with or without notice. We may update the short code(s) or telephone numbers used to send messages or place calls from time to time; any changes will be updated in these Terms. We may also change these Terms from time to time; continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
Pie shall not be liable for any delays or failures in the receipt of any text messages or automated calls, or for any technical errors, interruptions, or failures in delivery or connection. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is outside our control. Completion of automated calls is subject to network availability, carrier routing, and other technical factors outside our control. Pie shall not be liable for any unauthorized access or interception of communications. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
