Pie announces the completion of an $11M Series A funding round.

March 2019

Pie announces the completion of a $45M Series B funding round.

June 2019

Begin writing policies in  MississippiNew HampshireUtah, and West Virginia, extending coverage to 29 states plus the District of Columbia—an audience of 4.1 million small business owners.

100th Pie-oneer is hired, just two years after founding.

Pie announces the closing of $127 million in new financing and capital commitments.

Partner portal launches enabling agents to submit their clients for coverage in minutes and track their status in real time.

Agency channel grows to more than 1,000 partners, representing a nearly 200% increase since the start of 2020.

Pie exceeds $100 million in cumulative written premium and surpasses $100 million in annualized run rate premium in less than 3.5 years.

Coverage expands to Florida and Wisconsin bringing our service map to 36 states plus Washington, DC.

Pie Insurance announces the completion of a $118 million Series C funding round.

Acquisition of Western Select Insurance Company, renamed Pie Casualty Insurance Company.

Billing options expand to include Pay-as-you-go so Pie can sync with customers’ payroll provider to ensure accurate premium payments throughout their policy term.

June 2022

Coverage expands to Alabama and Oregon, now covering 38 states and Washington, D.C.

Pie Insurance announces $315 million Series D round of funding.
